Annual Wicker Clan Balloon Jumps - January 2008
Posted December 2, 2007

What: The Wicker Clan Balloon Club is coming to Skydive New Mexico.
Why: So we can jump out of their beautiful balloons.
When: Sunrise, Saturday, January 5th, 2008.
Where: We'll meet at  the Skydive New Mexico hangar, assign jumpers to balloons, and head out to the balloon launching area from there.
Who can jump: Licensed skydivers and some advanced, students with Instructor approval. If you are a student, check with your Instructor before signing up.
How much: $50 per slot, payable directly to the balloon pilot that drops you. This is a $10 increase from last year and reflects the ever rising cost of fuel. It's not a cheap jump, but it's a great value compared to the cost of a balloon jump at Eloy or a big boogie. Besides, this isn't the kind of experience whose value can be measured in money. Sorry, but you can’t use your DZ account to purchase balloon jump slots.

There will be a sign up sheet at the DZ this weekend, or you can secure a slot by sending me a reply to this email with your name, email address, and exit weight.

AERODYNE Demo Tour Stop Dec. 15-16,2007.
Posted December 2, 2007

The Aerodyne factory representatives will be at our DZ all weekend. They'll be offering free demos on all their latest gear, including their 9 cell Pilot main and the Icon harness/container system. If you are putting together your first rig, or looking to upgrade, downsize, or just curious, this will be a great opportunity to ask questions and try stuff out. Having a major gear manufacturer visit our DZ is cool! Come out and support this event, regardless of the weather. If there's a decent amount of interest in this event, I'll work towards getting some of the other factory tours to pay us a visit.
