NOTICE:
Skydiving is a very physical sport, so being in good
physical condition is imperative! If you can not bend
your knees completely, kneel, or sit on your heels
easily, you may not be able to do a tandem skydive.
Also, we require a MINIMUM of one week advance
scheduling (for the warmer months, 2-3 weeks advance
would be better).
WEIGHT REQUIREMENT:
You must weight less than 200lbs and be
proportionate in physical stature in terms of height and
weight to make a safe tandem skydive. Exceptions
will be determined by the Tandem Master on an individual
basis only!
 Tandem Course
The most popular
of first-time methods gives the first-timer a TOTAL
introduction to skydiving. After about one hour of
instruction, the student and instructor, gear up and are
airlifted to an altitude of 10,000 feet above the ground.
Connected to each other, in tandem, student and instructor
exit the aircraft and skydive for 25-40 seconds,
descending
4000 to 5000 feet and reaching speeds of up to 120 MPH, then
deploy their main parachute, large enough to support and
land both of them safely. The student, assisted by the
instructor then flies the parachute to a safe landing,
several thousand feet below.
This method is ideal for those who want to experience the
full sensation of a skydive, but aren't sure if they want to
do it alone or continue in the sport.

 Video Of
Your Jump
A
video of the tandem skydive
including scenes of the initial training, aircraft
boarding and ascent, the freefall, landing and post dive
interview can be requested and purchased as an
additional option. DVD is the standard format for your
tandem video, however, VHS is also available, as well as
still photos from the jump, suitable for framing.
Tandem Course with Video:
$350.00
With video which includes professional video of the
preparation, the plane ride, the skydive and the landing.
(Option dependent upon videographer availability).

edited copy on DVD and $10 for each additional
copy.

During The
Day...
One more thing .
. . there is a wonderful café at the airport,
Carolina's Café . Open from
8am to 2pm, serving both breakfast and lunch fare. Great
food, and during the day while you're with us, depending on
when we can actually get you in the air, you may have some
down time and be hungry before you go for your tandem. This
would be a wonderful place to get it, without heading back
into Belen, as well as help support another business at the
airport.
